rossco
Having not had one of these things going before, but getting there, I would have imagined that it would have taken a bit of time for the reactor to get enough CO2 going through it in the right concentration to produce the desired result. So the reactor is responsive enough to crank up again every 12 hours or so when you use the solenoid? :-?
reef
Have you added mag chip as well? what are the small rock stuff in the middle? yes added some mag chips. the rest is coral bits. will see if it breaks down over time. So the reactor is responsive enough to crank up again every 12 hours or so when you use the solenoid? i got the solenoid valve and regulator, will put in on timer for say 12 hours, will just test to see how if i have to change the time. One thing i did notice was the growth rate of my corals as my ca/kh levels are higher than normal as due to lack of time i have not been keeping a eye on my levels.
