Faran
Stop in Animates and ask if they have any spares in the bottom of the plant bins or sitting around somewhere...

SpidersWeb
I get mine from LFS, any pet store, cost me about $3 for quite a few, they're just labelled as plant weights. If you're in Wellington Central then Animates Kawhawhara. I got mine from Paws n Claws in Upper Hutt but I know other pet stores have them. Insect Direct
I thought it had to be a particular type of lead for use with fish? Or is plumbers save as i geuss it goes near water supplys?? Its just sometimes theres heaps on old roofs so can get them from building dismantlers (if there is such a place) or when roofs are replaced etc but i never used it with fish as thought it may leach something into the water. alanmin4304
If you are still in Christchurch I have heaps in rolls. It is the flashing used on the edge of the ridge flashing on a galvanised iron roof but is now not used with zincalume. If your not here pm me and I can post you some . I bought heaps years ago when I was supplying plants to the shops and still have a lot left. $6.00 for 1.5kg sound alright incl p&p.

carla
You can buy lead flashings from any plumbing place, bunning, mitre ten, place makers....... Used to - not any more (at least up here). Flashings are all aluminium nowadays. Lead is being phased out everywhere. Bought some old lead band from a plumber who was glad to be rid of the stuff. So soon we need to use something else I would think.
Discusguru
As long as Dominion Lead still in business there will be lead. I am a roofer and we use lead flashing for concrete tile roof. Can't see any stuff that can mould onto the shape of the tile. ron
