filter for fry tanks

hi guys im setting up another breeding setup an buying everything new just wanting to know wot filters people use for fry tanks im running 6 may be more 1 foot tanks for the fry an wanna no wot sponge filter is best or could i just have a airstone in the tank an do water changes twice a week

have u tryed those small world filters the ones i like sharronpaul had for sale but cant fine them any where

they still have heaps for sale at gold fish pagoda. not far from where u work smcoleman.

how many fish are u goin to keep in those 1 foots? cuz i dont use any filtration on my 1 foot just java moss.

i use the elite ones on my tadpole tanks. they are not as good as ye-ol' ugf but are way easier to just chuck in. If you have messy animals the filter wool will need wrinsing once a week or so, other than that... nothing. repace the wool once a month or so.

im using sponge filters in two of my fry tanks and in another fry tank im using a spare hob filter with a sponge on the intake bit of it.

i find that all three tanks remain clear, but the fish in the tank with the hob filter seem to grow far faster than the others.

all the tanks have java moss and the same size
