northland chic Posted October 17, 2003 Report Share Posted October 17, 2003 HI, I am new to the forum. I live in Northland and have quite alot of fish. I have goldfish, axolotls, gouramis, platys, guppies, a few different kinds of tetra, angelfish,a bala shark, bristlenose, zebra danios and an eel called Eli. I have about 9 fish tanks my biggest is four foot. I am just starting a new aquaruim and so far have got some firemouth cichlids lined up to go in it. I do not know much about firemouths but would assume you could keep them with other semi-aggressive cichlids of similar size, although my book suggests they like a species-only tank. It also says they are monogamous and aggressive. Pic can be shown here if they are on a web based site somewhere. You can also give a link to your web album if you have one.
