shiuh
lost this guy a couple days ago, this is an offspring which i cross my blonde snakeskin X blue neon female. got really excited, took many pics before i separated him and have him ready to breed with the virgin females which is in the other tank. woke up the morning and found him lying all dried on the floor. feel really gutted...but i still have his brother (doesnt look as good, caudal fin is too long). then the next day...same thing happened again, he jumped out! losing him and his brother means i pretty much lost the main males of the whole strain, all efforts wasted. that will teach me to have lids on my tanks next time. Sad rest in peace...
Zoban
ACK!!!! Sorry for loss and poor lil guys. Looked awesome too... Never did like lidless tanks. Too easy for things to get in or out. Be it jumping fish or kids playing, other pets or just standard household dust and sprays in the air.

MRSkz
What an wicked looking guppy. sorry to hear about your loss. I always try to have something for a lid, even just a bit of wood. My malawi tank is the only one I don't have a lid for but I keep the water level atleast a foot, or more, from the top. One of the things on my list to do have malawi tank brased and lided. Caryl
A sad way to learn a valuable lesson Useless gits only jump at times like this. The ones you don't want never jump!
