HelifaxNZ
Hi, does anyone have a Coral Banded Shrimp? Are they peaceful to smaller fish, corals, and other shrimps like cleaner/pepperment? I'm not sure but thinking of getting one to get rid of some of my millions of bristleworms! Your thoughts and comments are most welcomed.

Smallreefer
Hi, i have a coral bannded shrimp. It gets on ok with my cleaner shrimp although it will chase it if it gets to close but not really a problem. It dosent harm any of my mushrooms or leathers that i have and gets on fine with my fish (blue tang, lemon peel dwarf angel, clown fish). Not sure about bristle worm control as i dont have any (or very few). Dan

wasp
Hi Karma, sounds like you've got one or more "pods" in the tank, harmless little scavengers that make excellent fish and coral food.
raeh1
I have read a couple of cases of a cleaner shrimp, and small fish being caught and eaten by a coral banded shrimp. I also read that if there is enough room in your tank for them to keep clear of each other you should be right. So I decided to stick with just cleaner shrimp. I think you will find most people here probably have never had any problems though. Cheers
suphew
I have a yellow banded shrimp, it is still quite small and my tank 1700 long but it has never cause any problems for my other shrimp or fish. Pies has two very large banded shrimp, I'm pretty sure hes never had problems.

Mark
I also have a coral banded shrimp and two cleaner shrimp. The cleaner shrimp are always out and the coral shrimp i mostly never see. Not much point having one if you hardly ever see it.
kevan
you just see feelers sticking up from behind a rock were as the cleaner shrimps are all over the tank
shaneo
My cleaner shrimp hunts out young bristle worms  funny to watch, he sticks a pincher deep into a rock and pulls inch long worms out.
Duke
If you want to see your coarl Banded shrimp then get a moon light. I don't have one but do have a ceiling light above my tank which I turn on some time after lights out which allows me to veiw him well. Also I never have had a problem with a Coarl B shrimp and recommend them.
