sucky fish are cool
Hi guys Although I am new to the group I have had a topical aquarium for about 2 years. In my tank I have a sucky fish of course (bristlenose Plecostomus), 3 sword tails, 1 Siamese fighting fish, 6 harlequin rasboras, 5 neon tetras and sadly only 1 guppy. So a big hello to everyone out there hope to chat soon. Cheers
Caryl
Hi there sucky fish and welcome. In case you are interested, your bristlenose is not a plecostomus, it is an Ancistrus They are my favourite fish too.
Pegasus
Hi Sucky fish, Welcome to the NZ Fishroom. Plecos or Bristlenose,.... they are all great fish and truly comical characters at time.. and don't they do a great job around the tank he he. Now we must change that "lonely guppy" situation. :)
CraigJ
Hi Sucky Fish, Welcome, I'm new to both the board and keeping fish. Look forward to seeing you around the board.
Robbo
Hi Sucky Fish, welcome. I too am new but have had tropical fish for a while ( 20 yrs or so ). Still consider myself a novice but as you probably have found out there is a wealth of knowledge in this group. Like Pegasus said you will have to fix the lonely guppy. Is it male or female ? Cheers for now, Robbo

Goldie
Welcome welcome welcome I total agree with all the comments re the bristle nose catfish. They are such hard workers and no algae is in my tanks thanks to them. Good to have you on board
