malawi_man
How much will flow through a 22mm overflow pipe? I have a hole drilled at each end of my tank both are 22mm one for inlet and one for the outlet for the sump. I am planning on having a via-aqua 2600lph pump (at 0 head) pump, will this be too much flow going into the tank? will it be able to all get out the 22mm outlet? Ira
22mm will flow far more than that pump will be flowing.
suphew
I have a couple of closed loops using 32mm plumbing and 1060 pumps (around 2500lph I think) I had to add 15mm fittings to the closed loop outlets so that I actaully got any force behind the water comming out. alanmin4304
If your outlet is the same size as the pump outlet you should be OK.
