  1. i returned him to the breeding trap..
  2. he would be about the size of between a 10 and 20 cent piece roughly.. i dont want him if he;s damaging my sons fish .. they are their pride and joy..
  3. in my sons community tank we have the following: 2 kuhli loaches.. a marbled catfish(unseen he hides.)... a black moor, a very fat veiltail, a fat fantail, some shunbunkins, a red tailed black shark, grand dads gourami. and a little convict that was vicously attacked by the pair we have in with our baby snake necks.. Now... I suspect this wee convict has been nipping the fins and tails of the goldfish..as it has happened since y;day when i let him out of the breeding trap he was in... as i didnt have a spare heater for him to go into another tank.,.. now have a heater.. Am i correct in my suspisions?? Anyone want him???

  9. when we had a huge Plecy in with a large Oscar, the Oscar would attack the plecy who would then chase him.. :lol: his fins always grew back..
  10. gee thats alot of filters for a 4 ft. u dont think u r over acerating it?? when we had our Oscar and huge pleccy they were in a 4ft and back then we hadnt heard of external filters. had a undergravel thing with a pump and an internal box type filter u hooked the hose up to..
  11. well the worst water round is foxton water.. when we moved there 7 years ago, we had goldfish galore and a small red ear turtle. and a big Oscar.. The water killed the goldfish within a couple of hours and the turt was ok but the Oscar got brain damage poor buga.. had to rush him to a friends place who had bore water.. he was never the same after that..
  12. aww sorry to hear that one of yr ghosties gave up the ghost as well.. .. mine was about 1 foot.. definately gonna get another one.or two or three. lol
  13. ok, sounds like a neat lot.. i seen some ghosties at wetpets in palmy.. they upped their prices the buggars.. lol.. by $5..from$50-00 to $55-00.. they had heaps of different sized ones. hooning round tank... i am wondering if we get new ghosties whether they are better off in a tank on their own??
  14. aww.. ghostie has given up the ghost so to speak.. along with a scissor tail fishy.. i overfed them and should have corrected it but didnt..

  24. oh jeezh.. he would be all of 2ft??.. the others would know.. he has wicked teeth too.. lol... might have to find out where i can get a massive tank made for him before i can promise myself to buy him..
