  1. yeh i keep a few jd's jaguars , jewels , red devils thats about all at present
  2. i use a insulated shipping cotainer it works a real treat running costs are about $10 per week for my 33 x90 litre tanks each tank has a 60cm florescent tube light which seem to heat the container well the only heating i have is 2.5 kw thermostatetly controlled fan heater which i turn on in the winter just in case my air supply isfrom 2 large air pumps which could cope with another 30 tanks im sure i have 3 layers of tanks the lowest sit on around 23-24 degrees the top on around 27-28degrees celcius

    i used to have a small tiger fish that i fed swordtails to the swords where of similar size to him and he would smash them against a rock to kill them before eating them he only ate live food

    the largest eel is about 15-20cm long (unsure of sex) and with him are 2 yellow tailed spiny eels of about 7 cm each my favorite odd ball is a 8month old gold giant gourami which grows at a huge rate and as for cats i have a few odds and sods of those too bangos , whip tails , schwartz cory , san jauns , havent ventured into the real expensive ones yet but would like to

    hi everyone im a new member from nelson i have been keeping fish for about 22 years and i breed a few cichlids angels , severums , geophagus and trying my hand at some discus at present . my fish are kept in a fish room where i have 33 x90litre tanks plus 1x200litre and a 500 litre tank i keep all sorts of fish including tyre track eels , mudskippers, africans, tetra etc i like fish that are unusual and rare.
