Now does that help you? and can you understand that Smiths glass will make me one that size for the price I gave before, remember though I have not got the tank as I have the plans and would like to know if any member has gone through been charged the triple amount,(not incl G.S.T) ?

I'm wanting to build a glasstank (2000 litres) I know that the most expensive part would be the glass but I have not seen in the DIY Section anyone asking or saying how they got on with their tank or tanks. The other hard point is with not having a club here in Nelson with any advice can be a pain, The tank will be for my new discus E.T.C. Anybody got advise?

caryl, you are lucky to get a tank like this, because I have been looking around everywhere for one, hold your breath bad news,I lost my discus I don't know how but they all were at the top. the temp was 30c so now I do not know what to do. I would like to get a bigger tank and start over again but just seeing Blue Dimonds and brown ones I was sad

has anbody got male discus avalible as I have tried Robert from Christchurch but he has not replyied. I do expecthem to be over the $1.000 mark or the $600.00. as I have got a whole tank full of femlales that lay then eat the eggs so if anbody from the south has any avlable I would appreciate it kindly.

Is there anybody out there that has any suggestions about Dicus? as I have tried to breed them as I have seven and two small one's, But adults I have put into my breeding tank and I have found out that the five adult fish are females as they lay there eggs and by two days the eggs they are gone help me

I have had these fish in a tank now for two months, one has a tip on the top of it which I am not sure if it is a male or a female but the two have latly been locking lips, is this good or bad?. Just last night (Friday)3rd i saw a couple of eggs on the filter, this would of been about after 6 pm but after 8:00 same night they were gone. I am not sure if I have a pair as it is hard to tell, I have about five books on all differnt Tropical fish but the books do not give enough information about dicus. I also have three in another tank but they are not breeding, this is why I had put these two seprate ones in a tnak on there own. can anybody help as there is no club here in Nelson.?
