I have come across a problem with one of the aqua fish temputures (digital) little black ones. The problem is instead of reading the temputre it says H.c does anybody know what this means?

Is it common for the snails to eat their eggs? as they layed probably (guessing) 120 eggs all in differnt places, as a week went past the eggs either dissapered or dropped into the water. The Web-Site that you privided Carol was great but if their's anybody out there that has had this happen could they help as they are still breeding. And yes they are not staving.

Wareen I was looking at getting a larger tank but it was going to cost $2.999 just on three thousand and thats just one that the glass people make, imagine if you put both tanks together that would of been the lenght.

I do water changes every saturday with both tanks and thats cleaning pumps and stones Etc

Hi all, I am asking all for some help here, as I have lost four discus, and two angles all at the same time. my tank looks very bare now as the only fish in the tank are the clown loaches, neons,and two plocstomis or how you spell it, I just call the catfish. So those of yous out there that have knowledge about angels and other fish including discus, fell free to help as I may have to either startover again or just sell my tank. Craig.

Ok I'm a bit confused here as I am getting differnt anwers from everyone. So I am to take the two turtles out of the tank and put the into a pond correct? and the male has narrower (sp) whatever that is where the female has bigger tail.

I was told by pet shop people that when this happens I am to keep an eye on the male. But I have'nt got the turtels outside i have them inside, in a tank the pet shop that had told me about these, they said that I was to seperate the male away from the female of when eggs are layed. So I am a bit confused here.

I am looking at going from fresh water to saltwater, as I would like to start up a tank with coral and fish in it, but I do know that it all takes time, what I really need to know is what sand,E.T.C to use as with been just straight stone with fresh water tropical. Ok I have two Blue Discus that are breeded last night what should I do now as they are still in the tank. The color of the eggs have gone a cristal sparkling color they have layed the eggs on a peice of wood and are still there is there any help out there?

I could'nt see your reef Pies. As said in nelson you have to learn to do things yourself although you suggested that chap, four of us have had to make our own tanks one person is persisting to have Smiths glass as we just had a genral meeting with the consumers tem came down but will not be on tv till July as we have had rude reply's from them and other glass cutters makers. so if anybody is having the same problem consumers instuded. but never mind I cannot se my fish making it into this new tank I may have to put them into the pet shops tanks. Also It costs dimonds to get a tank across the straight or flowen.

No I cannot wait because the fish are on their way from Christchurch. so I am making the tank my self crossing fingers that I will not make mistakes.

sorry they don't sell second hand glass here in Nelson. Nelsons smith glass is very srict on their glass as a person that did the same thing built her tank out of second glass same size and fulled it, had poly on the bottom of it plus a cabnet next thing it exploded as with the temputure, it all goes with the glue they use. And they woulnd'nt replace it so no way I don't won't my tank to be like this members.
