  1. Not a problem Michael ~ Anyway normally if I don't have the parts i would just open up a new one and take out what ever parts you need. But what Michael said was true if an item happens to be out of stock and the parts need to be send from overseas that would take at least a week. Hey Michael where did you move?~ where am i going to get my JBL fakes from now?? Cheers Ben
  2. Hi~ I am doing some research on hobbyist preference on recirculating skimmer and in sump skimmers. After a quick search on the Internet some hobbyist mention that recirculating skimmer seems to perform slightly better than in sump ones. (Because recirculating model needle wheel pump only require to create bubbles and the in sump model require to draw water into the skimmer plus creating bubbles) (The recirculating model would cost around 40% more than in sump model) However some hobbyist that chooses the recirculating model is not on the performance but because they can’t fit the in sump version in their sump. I want to see if hobbyist is willing to spend more money for the slight increase in performance on the recirculating model? Also will they consider rebuilding their sump to fit the in sump version so they can save some money? Thanks Ben
  3. I have an AR620~ you can check this out. Hope i don't sound like trying to sell my own product
  4. Yea i know will once i got a camera (Those picture is taken by a friend before) By the way planning of getting a canon A85~ any comment?
  5. bainorama~ i really didn't have any of the original AR620 hardware other then the tank ofcourse. I use to use the standard lights (add a blue tubes) but it wasn't good for any corals other then mushs. Then i decide to change to T5 and now the summer is gone i change to HQI. I didn't use the standard filters at all~ i use a 2227 eheim Wet/dry so i can save space for a hang on rea sea prizm skimmers. Well anyway back to the topic of using AR620 as marine if all you want is a crown and a shirmp a standard AR620 will do. All you need to buy is Live Rock + powerheads for current. But if u are anyone like me~ wanting to keep a bit of everything plus overstocking the tank then AR620 is not for you. (I am planning an upgrade once i find the time)
  6. I have a AR620~ http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/viewto ... highlight= (This pic is old...current i have upgrade the lights from T5 to Atman MG600 HQI with pc.)
  7. yea..upgrading the tank in my room soon. Iam going to use the same stand (The current stand is 4foot long) but once again a little worry about how much weight can this stand hold. May take a picture of it later and see what you guys think. By the way the lights get straight into my eye (because the tank is right next to my computer) so iam going to build a hood for it. What material should i use? (currently using card board)
  8. Hello~ i want to upgrade my lighting on my 2footer (Aquaone AR620) from T5 to a Atman MG600 HQI with pc. Just a little problem is that the light is 10kg+ so iam worry will the glass hold? (I can't hang it up...must use the legs that come with it) Thanks
  9. I run a ehiem wet/dry cannister and a rea sea prizm skimmer...(I have 0 or really close to NO3 from Macro and water change) The reason for not using cannister for bio filtration is because it create NO3 which is bad for your corals. (FOT then don't worry too much) The reason why i use it is because i have too many fish and too small tank so there is not enough place for too many LR.
  10. Can anyone tell me where can i get RowaPhos and how much they are?? Thanks
  11. or you can do what i did to my AR620~~ throw away the standard lighting and filter. Replace them with eheim wet/dry cansiter filter, rea sea prizm hang on skimmer, and T5 (HO) lighting~~ ....all the AR620 left is the tank
  12. Just got the stuff i need....but the is has pass away~~ what can i say......
  13. Yes~ i had tested my tank, everything is fine. The lemonpeel is just not eating in my tank~ i brought it back and it is loss to a starfish not because of the fish is sick. Other then the crown, the tang is having whitespot but it seems to be less then before...about 10 now Don't have a DC on hand now so i can't post some picture. It is looking worst then before...just floating on the surface of the water. I will go purchase the stuff i need to treat the fish asap...but i got work again tomorrow....don't think any FS is still open after 6pm...
