I had the same problem when I set up the new sump< I fixed it by putting a milk crate down the end the water comes in so it lifted the pipe out of the water before dropping onto filter wool then through some rock in the crate. Doesn't look very pro but works well. The filter wool seems to help dirt entering the tank. If you want I will take a photo for you.

My cube is in the sun some of the day the anemones love it, I run a chiller which even comes on in the winter.

The big rocks on the H crispa side are new, have been having algae problems so have been doing a bit of a clean with tooth brush. Be glad when things settle down!!

Well lost all my leathers bar one, doing water changes every day what a stink. I think something went wrong when I had the tanks off when fixing the sump for a few days so soon after set up. Got a few gaps now but won't being doing anything about those for a while until things a stable. Thank goodness my Anemones are all ok so far.

ONLY JUST<> Had a big leather die in the tank today what a bloody mess<> Luck hasn't changed yet and things are wearing thin.
