My Tang eats heaps I hand feed him whole white bait every second day as a treat I have to stop giving it to him or he would just carry on and he is big not fat just very strong looking. He also gets what every other fish gets plus half a sheet of nori every morning I would rather have a higher nitrate reading than a skinny fish.

Yes me thinks too I have not got enough experience to pay top $ for sps just to lose them, need to start with frags!!

Thanks for posting: so too much light is as bad as not enough interesting I have noticed no change when I went to 20k things are starting to colour nicely. I bought a sps a while ago and put it at the top of the tank and lost it due to much light (shock)

NO I have used both and for years over salted my tanks until I got a refractometer soon found out the correct readings. Always use to have to add salt mix after a NSW change because the two first ones were not reading correct have not had to add salt since I got the refractometer a few years ago.

ABSOLUTE BEAUTY Same again all my shy fish are now happy to show off Can hand feed my big tang and he comes to talk to me but still a bit skittish (comes from being in the shop tanks for 3 months I think)

Since October, Yea my six line talks to me turns from side to side at me I love him he used to be very shy and kept in the rock work, but a real show off now. You will have to get another they are a great fish
