It's been too long! Had to settle with bullies and inanga, not that I'm complaining. I finally got them, 3 koura and I believe a giant kokopu, roughly 17 cm. Two small koura 7-9 cams and biggest at 15. Kokopu in pond. Koura in very small tank getting a bigger one in a few days, it will have a way of keeping water cold, not quite a chiller though, also caught a Redfin and saw what looked like a lamprey but most likely an eel. I'll get photos soon. Thanks everyone for all the help, I would have never started a native tank without the help of this forum.

Where could I find koura in auckland? Someone said to ask someone but I can't remember anymore.

What tropical schooling fish could I keep In a fluval chi? I thought beta but I want schooling fish and tiger barbs were to big, don't want anything too small like platties or neons.

Are they freshwater? Legal to keep? Can I convert saltwater to freshwater? If not where can I find them? How do I catch them? Care for them?

Black flounder, anyone ever tried keeping em? Is it legal, if it is what would be the care for them, saw them on the niwa website because my mum works there and I'm always on the websites. I love flounder :bggrn:
