I am new to this forum but have seen lots of good advice given out when I have been lurking.
My situation is that we bought a Ghost knife fish and it has survived all the learning mistakes we have made  and we are really attached to him. However he has grown well, and he is 20cm+ at the moment but has begun to get in touch with his inner predator and is becoming incompatible with the other inhabitants that are appropriate for a tank this size. (Barbs, rams, corys). Current tank is AR850.
We have 2 options - one rehome him (least preferred) or upgrade to a 400l tank and start another tank my questions are:
*is it worth going for example a juwel over aqua one and paying the extra $800 difference?
*what tank mates that are reasonably large but wouldn't tear up the Ghost knife (eg not african cichlids) in a tank this size?
