Hey all just a basic question I was hoping you could help me with. Currently I am doing 2 water changes a week of about 15% on a 54L tank. When I pour the new water into the tank (from a bucket), it is disturbing the substrate (small stones). How do you all go about avoiding this when adding water to the tank?

Hey all, I'm Ian from Johnsonville in Windy Welly. I have always enjoyed oggling fish tanks in stores and restaurants and have decided to give it a go. Pretty excited about it! Recently I have bought a juwel korall 60 (54L) tropical aquarium off trademe for a starter. It is currently cycling and the plan for it is a school of Cherry Barbs. In the future when I have settled in a location I hope to try something bigger. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all on the forum and picking your brains. :thup:
