hi all set up new tank sat just gone , how long should i wait till i introduce fish thanks

wanting to start new hobby, wanting advice on what sort of tank i should buy, looking at aqua 850 or rio 180,want to grow live plants also, have been told filtration in rio is a better option,also been told be carful of aqua because they can spilt in corners, all advice welcome thanks
