Found my CBB this morning stuck to pump. Not sure if he was dead before the pump got him. Thought i was doing well with him as he was eating fine and in tip top shape. Lasted 1 month and two tank moves with him. A loss is a loss but not as large as yours

i am hoping so. I watch him closely to make sure he gets food. I must say its a very small fellow

Added a small CBB last week. Sadly it does not touch my apstasia at all. Not even the small ones. Luckily he eats mysis and brine. I leave my magnet in a corner and every morning live mysis and other pods hide there. I wait for him and move it when he comes. He chases them but does not swallow them -he kills it and my clown finish them off

snails can be a bugger. I had the same problem one morning with one stuck. I caught it just in time. Good to hear you did not have an overflow

I removed a large worm on Tuesday night . The worm must have known he was going for a long walk on a short pier and decided to leave a few hairs on my hand. Not sore just irritating . Anyone had this before and how long does it take to go away and any ideas of a remedy

i removed the rock last night as there must have been 30 on it . To me that was the best option to murder them . I will do as as James said and turn off the pumps and inject JJ.

Will Cupramine kill aipstasia on a rock if i dip the rock in a bucket . I have tried Joes juice but seem to lose the battle. If i dip the rock will it be reef safe to replace in my tank after i clean the rock or shall i leave it out to dry

I caught two of these for my trigger fish when i had a fish only system. I dropped them in after floating them in a bag . They had no problem with the heat and survived untill i removed them. They dig and move the sand and at night they are active. I removed them after my wife complained about the constant clicking of their claws. Luckily i did not have a lot of rock in my main tank to get to them

No problem Chim . That is how some people learn . By overlooking the obvious you get burnt and my corals did. I still use the swingarm one but will upgrade this month

I would not put a trigger with shrimps as the one i had demolished any shrimp on sight but as with any fish there can be docile ones and Niger trigger is not uncommon in a reef
