  1. Yes, I am starting to think that way as well about the Co2. I have planted crypts, anubias nana, rotala, dwarf sag, swords, ludwegia repens (excuse the spelling), so all low light plants, and to be honest, they are looking really healthy and have grown in the 2 weeks that they have been planted. I guess I just like the idea of a high tech tank, they always look so lush and beautiful. I think I might get a new set of the standard tubes, I havent replaced them for a couple of years. On looking at them, they are the combo ones - 'Tropical' which is a mix of white and pink. Maybe the plain sunlight ones would be better?
  2. I have been doing a bit of research on the AR620, and you cannot get any other tubes apart from the 2x 18w setup. Unless I rip out the tubes from the light hood and replace with some other setup, I guess I will just I may be stuck with low light. Maybe a good excuse to invest in an upgrade tank! :lar: When I bought this tank, I didnt really know much about the hobby, or what was needed for plants etc :-? I also have just replanted it with a substrate mix of Aquabasis Plus & Daltons Aquamix, with a cap of black grit/sand from the local quarry. I am also using Excel, flourish complete & will be needing to get some macro ferts as well.
  3. Thanks for the replys so do you think with the depth of this tank I should just stick with low tech, low light plants with Excel?
  4. Hi Has anyone used the Fluval Pressurized 88 Co2 kit? I am thinking of getting a pressurized system for my AquaOne 620 90L tank. Also, what type of lighting would you suggest for a medium light? measurements 62w x 38d x 53h. It currently has the factory 2x 18w tubes it came with, and I will have to do a bit of a diy job to change it. thanks
