Looking good Greg, all that time moving the components around on the ground has paid off

I bought a secondhand tank which included an eheims 2313 filter/heater combination. I know, 2 eggs in 1 basket, but tidy Question is, what does the light mean. I switched it on, got a continuous red light, then it changed to flashing. I have downloaded a manual but all it tells me is which way to turn the thermostat, not what the light means. I have a temp of 28.8C and although I have turned the dial down many times, I still have the blinking light and no reduction in temp. :bounce: I am wondering if the blinking light is some sort of alarm. Can anyone help ?
