  1. a ha... u should see what i have! not fish but just as good from local creek...
  2. not by hand i hope haha
  3. heat gun/ hair dryer maybe, cud try slowly heating the underlay and pealing it back trying not to get hot spots on wood or light underlay on fire.... if u lift up the edge of the under lay and work along it slowly, i have used this method for removing all sorts of adhesive products from things, signwriting etc, sounds like the underlay is just old and the old rubber has fused onto the wood. ps if all else fails, just rip and sand/varnish haha
  4. i have 3 black widow tetras you can have. pm me
  5. just had a look at there website and for a nigerian scammer they have gone to a lot of effort haha, normally they just spam thousands of people with the same e-mail waiting for a response, i had this tried on me while selling my car on TM except they were chinese, overseas and wanted to pay by paypal, looking for the same outcome of using a donkey to convert stolen/dirty money through paypal.
  6. congrats! you can feed fry many things, BBS, micro worms or liquifry which u can buy in most LFS. heaps of other things to just do research on raising guppy fry.

  10. no way haha the female was huge dropped roughly ten eggs every few minutes for a few hours, got to be over 100 maybe not 300 tho

  12. some light fittings need both tubes to run, if not u can just take one out, if the unit is sealed/ has a cover it will be fine. from what i have seen the fittings used are pretty water tight as they are specially made for these sorts of applications. inside will be a glass fuse and i assume u either have an RCD in your switchboard or are running your leads through a portable RCD. this will stop you getting a nasty shock, take it from me i'm a electrician shocks are not nice and can kill take all measures to make yourself safe. if your unsure on anything PM me.
  13. thankyou definitly 3 males 2 female!
  14. the bolivian rams i got from you are going great pretty sure i have 3 males and 2 females but still unsure on how to sex them...

  16. this gives me chills, if you cant keep them theres no way i can haha
  17. these are just 2 amazing looking german blues they are definitely a pair, both looked really healthy when i brought them, i had them in my community 3 ft for awhile then thought i might try breed them so i put them in a smaller 1ft tank, water has always been clean, up to temp etc etc so i cant see why she would be doing this, i did notice the male was chasing her around a bit and she lay on top of the sponge filter i had in there, i have now put them in a larger tank still by themselves so ill see what happens over the next few days. it would be a shame to see her go..
  18. its strange because the male is fine, hes getting big and eating heaps and swims fine, i feed them frozen blood worms and microworms which they love, now shes not eating and hiding
  19. i have a pair of blue rams, the female ram is gasping quite alot and hiding under the drift wood in the tank, any clues to what might be wrong?
