Hi, MTS has setted in...just bought a 1.8m x 60cm x 60cm tank Questions- 1)Can someone explain how to do a sump...as i want to do one? 2)i want to have a arowana in it,is it a good size tank? 3)WHat arowana should i get...green..jardini..or black-pros and cons of each thanks heaps Matthew

hi guys...just managed to get the dimensions today... it is 2m x 80cm deep x 30cm high...its too deep so it wont fit in my room :an!gry

no ...i dont know the size but it looks about 50cm high and deep...thats a rough guess as it is on a tall stand

Hi guys, at my job they have 3 HUGE 2.4 m tanks ...they are not very tall and deep but still massive..... :-) 1 is for fish and 2 for reptiles HE gave all three of them to me for free.........i dont have the 1.6m tank anymore.... just some questions- 1) What filters would you reccommend? i was thinking 2 of these- http://www.trademe.co.nz/Pets-animals/F ... 992687.htm 2)they are on the top of an aquarium stand which is very tall...how can i get it down? 3) what fish would you reccommend Thanks heaps

1 light in fitting 90cm x 40cm high x 40 cm deep i just mainly want to add some plants for looks...not an overload.i want a fairly low maintenance tank with some plants in it that doesn't drive you nuts with algae outbreaks due to light/fert/C02 imbalance thanks heaps i will check the light tonight and will get back to you 2morrow...

Hi, i am thinking of setting up my 3 foot tank as a planted.. just wanted to ask some quick Q's 1-Is it possible to have to much Co2 for the plants? 2-What fertiliser would you reccomend? 3-If i keep plants will that make algae grow? 4-WHat begginer plants would you reccomend that grow well?
