  1. I do want to add older ones too... What are the model numbers of those Fluvals? I'll add Leopardfish to the wishlist. Glad you like the app.
  2. Not sure why that image got stretched... Hmmm... Your tank does look busy and heavily stocked. As for Gouramis, they do tend to become more aggressive when they spawn but I'm not sure if they are aggressive enough to cause problems. Perhaps someone else can answer this and I can update the DB accordingly.
  3. Hmm, so those sharks are only good with _some_ loaches? Yikes.
  4. Currently, Krebensis is marked to require a tank with a footprint of 20x10 inches which is not very big. What is the footprint size of your tank?
  5. It appears that most of the warnings are caused by the presence of Copadichromis Borleyi and SAEs in your mbuna tank. I would think those are not a great mix... Are they getting along ok?
  6. Wow, is that your actual tank? May be I over-estimated the aggression of Parrot Cichlids...
  7. Basically the way the app works with the size warning is that if the larger species is larger than 3.5 times the smaller one, it will give this warning. It more a less works for many species but not all of them. I have an attribute for each species that corresponds to their "mouth size". I can bring this size down to make this species safer with smaller species. Alternatively, I can also add this species under "Good Exception" list of the shark. So before I go and update DB, are we sure that these two can co-exist?
  8. Not bad at all.. Close to ideal actually.
  9. I capped the stock level to 5000%. Did you happen to hit that level?
  10. I guess it kinda worked ok in this case.
  11. You must have tried it when it still had temperature bug. It is fixed and they should show the actual required temperatures for each species rather than same temperature for all species.
  12. I'm sure you will enjoy bringing that % up...
  13. Could you list all species that are missing from your stock? I can add those. Also, if you saw any "wrong" warnings, please let me know. I can fix those as well.
  14. I think I have two of them listed. I don't do anything special for Africans because I want to show that they are overstocked even if it was by design. For Mbuna species, it even reports that it is ok to overstock it. I forgot that you need to do that for Tropheus species too... I'll add that message in the future release.
  15. I just looked in the DB, required temperature for Discus starts at 25. Do you feel this is too low? I am aware that they like very high temperatures.
  16. Ouch. You are going to be in a worse shape now - recently, I have bumped up some of the cichlid bioloads based on user feedback!
  17. Boring as in agreeable or still not agreeable? If not in agreement, please post your stocks and tank dimensions. I'd like to fine tune your species if needed.
  18. So I take that you didn't agree with the report? Could you post what and how many of each you have, dimension of your tank, and what was the expected stocking level? Also, if there are missing species, please let me know as well. Scientific names will help. Thanks.
  19. Hi guys, I am the creator of AqAdvisor.com. I have been developing it for about 10 months now and it has been live for about 4 months. All initial data came from either my own experience or from profile sites (and you know how inconsistent those sites are), so not all data is accurate. I do take expert feedback seriously though, and I do intend to make the site data accurate one way or another. For more common species, I believe the site gives you pretty good reports. I do need more feedback for less common species though. I will go through each of your responses on this thread - I'd appreciate if you could give me some feedback on your setup. Thanks!
