My flowerhorn was well mature, i normally wracked 80% of existing tank water into a new breeding tank, so water wouldnt be the main issue that cause eggs not hatching.. i am going to try to bid for a microscope on trademe.. :digH: :digH:

Damm guys my flowerhorn produce no offspring.. :facepalm: second day as i could see a little bit of eggs gone white, today all eggs are gone.. iam guessing this may be another male fish issue.. :gigl: come to think of it, another member i think Ryan was mention the problem of fish fale to hatch their eggs proporly due to the exporter is fiddling with the fish before they export them out.. This could be right as this would stop breeder fans like us to reproducing offspring, they would love this as their fish supply business would be increasing.. :digH:

nice tank bro just wondering who out there got the Kamfa flowerhorn? here in Nz we have alot of green Flowerhorn iam sure there is a good chance of getting the Kamfa..

it one thing i would love to do if i won lotto next week..i would buy a block lifestyle land with pond..making a tropical pond and power temp by with solar heating..what a dreammmmm... the problem is how do i stop those birds from getting in the pond? :slfg:

:slfg: i use to put them with my baby cichlids, but now they are all in with my monster cichlid midas/jag/festae..etc..

I still have my Featherfin Syno, they should be ok with smaller fish but i think if you have clown loaches with Featherfin Syno, the clown loaches mighty end up with some scratches.. exciting fish to watch thou.. :thup:

cough cough!! with the price tag of $80-$90 for baby EBJD at the shop..it would be good to take up the changelle.. its also encourage you to learn the knowloge of the SA cross breeding species.. :spop: I was mad about this EBJD..but i fale..just taking a break at the moment..

I had a friend over last nite from OZ..here reckon we here in Nz have more option in tropical fish then in OZ..

tip for lazy: when making water change try not to top the tank right up,.. leave about 80% filled and 20% remaining unfilled ( depend on filter system..internal filter are all sweet) when you know the tank needing waterchange, and feeling lazy.. grab the garden hose and way you go..tank should last you for couple more days.. :digH: :digH:

its not the cost the tank heater..its the cost of buying new fish& fish food you have to consider if you going into this hobby :slfg:
