you can also get polystyrene from mitre 10 for lyk $5-$10 for a huge piece and they can cut it to size for you!!

Try the switched on gardener for your heaters (aqua one) they are alot chepper eg. i got a 300 watt for 32 bucks!!!

is there any way to cover this? like with 1 of thoes metal things that the pet shops use?

i have a sump for my big tank but it has a 4cm out let pipe which is uncovered and i have lost a few fish to it any way i was just windering if there is any way th cover this pipe with out disrupting the flow?
