Clear silicone is best, harder to see. Use 100% silicone, designed for aquariums if you want to be extra careful

The kribs are now impossible to tell apart. The both have deep colouring, metallic gold on their dorsals and fat, red bellies. They're displaying to each other but keeping about 2cm away from ea other. Trouble?

Actually, I've got Mikrogeophagus altispinosus. Anyone else got them or are you talking about a different fish? :-?

Does pH affect the outcome of the gender in these fish? If so, someone should breed them at the extreme that creates all females. They'd make a killing, I would but I've only got regular blue rams

I hope so. I can't stick the bits back on can I? :lol: There a little bits of fin at the bottom of his container so I don't think it's fin rot.

How cheap are their filters over there? I'd be keen to get some miniature canister filters but the shipping price always put me off. Maybe if you asked (and were willing) you could see if there were some supplies that people on here needed that you could order to help with your shipping costs?

Added some salt this morning, more bits have fallen off his fins. Didn't think they'd stay on anyways but it's still sad. He used to have such lovely big fins and be so tough but now... He kinda looks like a sad PK
