Hey ppl. been a while since i last had the chance to use the internet... any ways could you plz tell me that forum im ment to go to when im just generally chatting... any way some of ya were wonting to know if i was testing for this and that... well i dont know how to test for nitrates but i do know that you need if for good plant growth and also for your fish...??? mabey im wronmg but i know plants need it. and my plants are growing like wild fire... im also using a fluresent lamp onto wich is really speeding things along. yes i am changing the water and i am testing the PH and trying to keep it at a steddy PH of 6.5... unfortunatly i got sojmething like white spot and now i onbly have 4 neons 2 clown loaches and all the rest are fine exept for then ... dont even know where any of the boddys went exept for one that we found floating at the top ( it was a neon.) bussy bveing canabilised. so weav treated the white spot... can any one tell me what would have caused that because i really dont wont to get that in my tank again...

Hi guys... this is gana be a little pathetic comming from a total new bee next time you do a water change, rince off the bucket before you dip it in a different tank. and then if all your tanks get a problem again you will be able to tell if its something from the water your putting into your tank. and if just a coupple or one of the tanks get a problem you can then tell if theres something funny with your tank already. :-?

hello again... I dont know if im doing this in the right forum... and i probably got the spelling wrong to . any way iv got i think about 6 zebra danios, about 6 leopard danios, 1 plocostamis, 1 algae eater, 1 red tailed shark, 3 clown loaches, 10 neon tetras, 2 silver pointers, 3 harlican lotus, between 3-6 glow light tetras 1 lemon tetra i dont think i have any others. and i only got all of those thanks to my parents ... arnet thay cool 8) (but i got my tank from a friend for $10 its 94 cm by 54 cm and 60 cm deep. pritty big tank for $10 (but then again he makes most of the tanks around auckland)) PS: I think that between all my fish in there even thow its got pritty good vegitation and rockery that all the eggs could have become mid night snacks o well i dont think my tank could really handel to many more fish

Hello All I guess im probably pritty much a Sparkeling new Fish keeper. iv only had my tank set up for about 2 weeks and my fish are doing so well that thayer spawning already . im also a South African but i left when i was 7 years old and im only 16 now so i cant say i remember any of the fishg from there. so any way i guess this is my hello and my introduction, looking forward to learning HEAPS of new things from all the "Grand Masters" of fish keeping
