northland chic

Well, I got my reply yesterday. Noticed my white one and the black one cleaning the pump and cord. Then about 2 hours later I noticed they had started laying their eggs. It went great until I turned out the light that night. The mother ate them all! But ohh well now I know for next time.

I have three angels that are about 8-9cm inlcuding tail. Two of them are quite fat and always have their papillia thing sticking out, then I have a black marbled one who is noticeably skinner but picks on the other 2. Do you think i have a pair? I was thinking about getting one or two more to see if anything happens. Do you think it would be wise? I have a few baby ones I bought of trade me, one of them is about 4cm. Do you think I could put him in with the big ones or would they beat on him too.

I have quite a few, is there somewhere I can put them?

HI, I am new to the forum. I live in Northland and have quite alot of fish. I have goldfish, axolotls, gouramis, platys, guppies, a few different kinds of tetra, angelfish,a bala shark, bristlenose, zebra danios and an eel called Eli. I have about 9 fish tanks my biggest is four foot. I am just starting a new aquaruim and so far have got some firemouth cichlids lined up to go in it. Can anyone suggest anything that will get along with them? Would love an oscar but apparently not a good choice.
