  1. so how long would she hold before fries starts appearing?
  2. i dont think it will spit in the tank, they are some zebras around. how do those commercial breeding nets fair?
  3. Hi, I need some help. I have a small colony of demasonis for 2 months now. most of them are 4 cm, 5 cm at best. Today while cleaning tank, i noticed 1 of them had a swollen lower jaw, like holding something in the mouth. It refused to feed when i feed them. But at 4 cm surely, can they breed at such small sizes? if so, i need some advice about breeding. do i take it out, or should i leave it in the main tank. trying to catch a 4 cm fish in a tank full of rock work would be a b****. cheers.
  4. Hi i have a 90cm by 50cm by 50cm tank which is currently stocked with a colony of demis and a few yellow. just wanted some opinion on whether its okay to put in a few kribs as well?
  5. well i got it off guvnor007. he told me its minutus. oh well, its not agressive at all. even the brichardis pick on it at times.
  6. hope this ir the rite way to post pictures
  7. agression is quite minimal, just the smaller yellows get picked on by the brichardis. i'm still figuring how to insert photos onto the forum
  8. dimensions are 90l, 45 w, 55H. minutus supposedly looks like elongatus but less aggressive. bought it off gunnrov007
  9. HI there, trying out malawian cichlids for the first time. Been getting mix messages about how many mbunas i can stock in my 3 footer tank (90cm by 45 width, 55 height) . I currently have 5 yellows, 1 red zebra, 1 ice blue, 1 powder blue, 3 brichardis, 1 psuedotropheus minutus and 1 electra. (I know brichardi and electra are not mbunas but i have been told they can be kept together?)They are all juvenils at them moment about 6 - 8cm. Brichardis are full grown. Coping all right at the moment with no aggression seen. I have 1 cannister and 1 overhead filter going. Is that too many fish for my tank when they start maturing? or just fine. thanx for the advice.
