  1. There will always be a problem with deformities and genetic defects when you get indiscriminate breeders out there, that's why it is important to document the genetics as far back as you can,........ after all that's why incest is against the law.........

    Hence the question about anyone breeding for specific colours...........

    that maybe another way of saying too much inbreeding or a coverup for the recessive red gene also being tied to a susceptibility to leukemia or liver and kidney defects as well

  2. I understand that you can get different coloured Australian Bearded Dragons .. like normal (Dark Brown )

    Light Orange, Yellow right up to a Dark Reds ...

    If so, what are the chances of getting the different colours? Does anyone know who is breeding for the colours?

    Also would anyone know, what the expected price would be for each colour?

    If there is a difference at all in the cost ... ??

  3. True that, ah well. I'm not siding with MAF at all but I can understand kinda why they restrict imporation of animals. I mean, look what the possum, ferret, weasel,stoat, ship rat has done to our wildlife. They're just trying to prevent that happening I suppose. However, I reckon that most people on this site are very capable of successfully holding an exotic animal in captivity without causing nationwide disasters.

    You missed the one that kills the most of the wild life here and you may have one yourself and that is the
