I had waters with reeves and yes you are right ... one has a shorter tail now ...not good

He had a nice holiday in jail ...... Though that was not his first and there are some lovely birds in NZ now

Computer UPS?
I have UPS on all my incubators and last for up to 8/9 hours no problems but when I put the on the turtles tanks with the last power cut
they only last about a hour and a half before they really start to beep ...

When mine got out I find it under the fridge ... they go for heat ..... by the motor

Nice, i mated mine just 2 days ago, cant wait to see the offspring. What temp did you incubate? what duration?Have done at 29 and been good right through so hopefully be some males ....
I have about 12 eggs so far and still going ...

Went there last Saturday ... just loved the big screen ... It was a screen that was right round you and you stand in the middle it showed a school of bait fish from when the Kahawai came then the king fish , sharks , dolphins and the sea birds from the top and last the whale.
Was like being the the ocean watching ...

Thanks guys, I remember reptilenutt telling me about feeding them eggs?
Checked enclosure fully, no sign of any others.
Woah! Hopefully more to come then
We have a few at the moment and started them on boiled eggs first and over the next week
started to put in bananas and meat . (cat food )

Reptilenutt, you wouldn't happen have any eggs from a red pairing in the incubator at the moment?

We have had a good year with all the reptiles but the beaded have not laid at all ... :dunno:

Thought I would set up a cricket trap ...
I set it up yesterday and here is what was in it today
Just a sheet of iron in the long grass
dig a hole and put in a bucket .... not much in the bucket but under there were a few .. just 24 hours

Love birds make very nice pets ..doing some now ...
It is up to the person that is looking ..there are some very nice birds that make very nice pets ..
We have a sun conure that flies around here but is not nice to females .. the yellow ring neck is a beautiful colour and as long is handled by both male and females will be no problem .
Galahs are a nice size bird and very chucky but I find the cockatoo is no noise for in town ..but say that the pairs of Galahs we have here do make a noise at about 6 every night ..
Alexander’s make got pets nice big oversize ring neck but some people do get frightened from the beak ...
You should know this one LA ..
