hey everyone, This is a hydroplane model rc boat i have built in about 6 months. construction http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk170/si_sphinx/IMG_0085.jpg heres video of first run, just warming it up. it has a 25cc 2 stroke water cooled marine engine in it. twin rudder. total length 1.45m Comments are welcome and pics of anyone elses model if they have any.

yes but the silicone will also release harmful toxins into the water that can kill the fish and bacteria in the sump

if they breed just feed them to you your fish and there won't be any worries

yea i suppose so, Just get a bigger tank bigger the better the more fish :lol:

as long as there is some sort of current in the tank they should be fine, ive had to have fish in a 100ltr tub for 24hrs before when i had to fix a tank leak and they were all fine with small power head and heater in there.

get some electric yellows, demasoni, red zebras, cobalt blues etc these have bright colours and look great if you use silica sand it will help bring out the colours in the fish better

yea maybe they showing breeding colours...? What size are they?

they eat just about anything lol And they are very very messy. needs a good filter system. Temp 22-30 degs I don't know too much about they but there is plenty of people here that do Good luck

yes i understand about the giraffes and they will go into a bigger tank when they get larger. at least i don't have my jags in there anymore, lol they were causing all havoc wen they got bigger that everyone else . they grow so fast.

i changed tank around a bit and added some plants. what do you think, good? bad? fish are: 3xelectric yellows 1xred top ice blue zeb 5xkeyholes 2xjacob peacocks 1xmalanochromis wetever its called 3xgiraffe haps 1xblue dolphin last 2 pics are from old setup, just showing my fish java ferns don't seem to do very well either. i can never seem to get my hands on a decent specimen/plant :-? any advise would be much apprecieted regarding setup and fish selection.

Yes im prepared to seperate if need be but thats a year or 2 away yet until they get that big. i don't mind if the convicts breed as its good tucker for everyone else if they get too outa hand or i can off load them at the pet shop if they will have them. I haven't seen any dwarfs or tangs yet so haven't been that interested but will maybe get a few in the future.

Ive grown up in fiordland and alway going fishing in doubtful sound since i was 2yrs old and catching huge fish, i love it. so i guess ive always wanted to take the fish home and keep them, and this is the closest i can get to big fish
