keeping fire-bellied newts by tj thornton is the book you need to buy and read it cost about $15 i think that is wot we payed for ours.
we had 100% hatch rate from the eggs we got off tm
-
you can buy it from the glass shop but it cost you 2times as much so i do it that way
-
very cute mark :bounce:

i just use mdf and get the sliding tracks from mitre 10 they cost $20 for 1600mm i use 19mm mdf so i dont need to make a frame it can be screwed together with no probs then i go see a m8 who works at a glass shop and get him to make my doors and all up just the enclosure cost $610 (that is what we charge) and that is with the rock work and a few other bits and pieces lights if you are a regular at your lps you can get discount on them
the enclosure size is 1500mmx700mmx600mm

yea it is and ive done it and have had it in one of my fish tanks for about a year and have not lost any fish or had it put paint in my water
-
i use water based paint on my fish tank backgrounds let it dry for a week and then hose down a few times then put in tank and flush tank 3times to make shore there is no paint in the water.
if the paint was guna come off then they would not use it on houses.
the reason you cant use a poly resin is that it will melt the poly rock you have made so there for you will have to do another one. and if you use an epoxy once it is dry you will have to wash it a few times to wash of any residue that maybe left there.

i dont have any of his babies but i have seen 1 of his baby beardies and it seems to be in reasonable health.
its not eating its veges much though.
i havent seen any heath probs with them apart from the blind 1 on tm that came from him.
his shipping methods are a bit questionable though.
