  1. ok then I stand corrected  didnt want to bum stear anyone but I have cut glass that way with out any trouble
  2. you got to score it on both sides and do it a couple of times so its good, i bet there would be some good walk throu's with picks an stuff if you googled it
  3. this would be cool with two nice tanks next to each other, it would be high tide in one and low nextdoor then vice versa, a tiny power head in each with them on timers. think ill give this a go!
  4. it wouldnt be easy or quick but if you put it on concrete or even beter on a peice of steel and pound it with a lump hammer, have to start with small bits and put something around it to stop it flying away.so you could do it but almost not worth the trouble
  5. heres one i made, a bit more to it but still easy to make http://bentazfish.teach-nology.com/index_1.html
  6. heres my homemade canister filter check the link for plans http://bentazfish.teach-nology.com/index_1.html it was easy as and only cost about 30 buck aussie to make it, it works a treat
  7. its not that hard to cut your own glass, you could make these easy as out of window louvers (second hand) plus a glass cutter only costs about ten bucks
