Have a few problems with my fishies at the moment. My Siamese Fighter has like some white fungus around his lower fin and a few white spots here and there. Seems to be making it so he can't spread them out. Any help with this would be great i have Furan 2 but would have to treat the whole tank. He is in isolation at the moment. will try post a pic shortly. The guppies don't seem to be doing to well either. Although they look fine i have had 2 of my males die in a couple of days. Maybe i just can't look after them as there are no signs of any problems the 2 that have died don't seem to chase the females as much and hang out on there own then they lay on the bottom of the tank and next thing they are dead. Females seem fine. What could this be? Help someone i dont wanna be a fish killer

Thanks for all the feedback guys, want wanting dwarf gourami's so that settles that one. just got me a siamese fighting fish he's quite cool but hard to get a decent pic of him he's a reddy blue one i named rex. only cause my partner names all hers and mine so got in first

hi all made a bit of a silly mistake over the weekend by bidding on some guppies on TM went to pick them up yesterday thinking i'll just get males to pretty up the tank. but he didnt really have that many males and since he looked around 90 i couldnt say i didnt want the big plain pregnant females so now i'm stuck with six females which i am thinking are all pregnant. i did want to try and breed some but that was one day and when and how i wanted. So i wouldnt mind getting rid of them but then i wouldn't mind seeing what sort of fishy's pop out colour wise. and the other problem is they stress out and confuse my lampeyes. can anyone help or would there be many people who would want some free females. Also woke up this morning to find about 10 snails in my tank which werent there yesterday. Whats the best way to get rid of them as i have some snail rid but says not to use in soft water. i don't know how to tell if my water is hard or what

Well i like the look of hatchets was thinking of getting a few of them. but then i saw the price probably get some if i can find them cheaper. Wouldnt mind guppies and wouldn't mind a bigger fish. i used to have Angels but man they grew and bred and were quite bossy buggers used to feed them and they come up and suck onto your finger. So will these fish go well together i havent even done any research on if they even can be in the same type of water. Hi all i remember reading somewhere on the forum that some fish in pet shops don't seem to live very long. Is this true and if so could any one come up with a list.. Hope there isn't already a list somewhere Thanks

My partner and i got a tank about 5 weeks ago now and i have been looking at this site since about then. We have a waterhome 25 and a week after that we got an aqua one ar380 which was meant to be like our lil hospital tank but that now has 3 platys in it 3 khuli loaches and a plec. Not actually sure how that came about. The bigger tank has just started establishing itself I'm hoping so that just has some neon tetra's, lampeye's? a couple of albino cat fish one of which has gotten rather fat rather quickly and a plec.
