    we are on tank water/rain water too and never had this issue raising fry...mayb try the 50% water changes daily as suggested above?

    Just used this silicon to seal some dividers in a tank, it doesn't say how long till the aquarium can be used? Anyone know? Tanks :bounce:

    wat heater would u recommend for my 240? I was thinking a 300W jager?

    I agree with the heater, its not able to heat to temp i want it. i currently have a 100W on the otherside!! I will be replacing it with a 300W jager i think.

    it will look much better in a few months once the plants are all growing and fill out alittle, my glosso is going mad, hopefully it will cover the enitre floor.

    Hi all, I purchased 4 electrics from a shop in chch, they arrived today via courier, i have just released them and they have white spot all over there fins. What is the best way to rid it please? they are in a 240L tank on there own(luckily) I just spent a small fortune on these guys and were expecting healthy fish out of it at least!! GRRRR
