  1. Although it wont help in your situation of not being able to move your tank, black vinyl from a sign writer or similar is the best IMO.

Stuck to the glass you get a even, flat look with no glare, wont fall off and the ease of just pulling it off in the future. Can get any colour under the sun too! Did my tank for about $20 (applied myself).

  2. normally doin ane modification will result in less fuel economy as it can upset the fuel/air ratio and overfuel

With alot of the "chip's" or "re-mapping", A/F ratio is leaned out. That is how they get the "more power, bigger economy" claim's. Ie; A certain well known Commodore ECU re-flash. Most manufacture's err on the side of caution with there A/F ratio's

  3. I've got some fry in a Aqua one AR380 and unfortunatly some got sucked up the filter intake so I decided to place a stocking over it. Now it's just dribbling out of the filter instead of flowing (obviously because of the restriction). My question is, will this be bad for the pump?? Surly not a good thing but anything to worry about??

  4. I have heard the same thing about leopard's and cheetah's livingart. My friend's grandad started the zoo here and had a fair bit to do with big cat's. VERY interesting man to talk to! He has never had much good to say about the lion man either..........

I think it's wrong to "tame" a wild animal. If we are trying to "save them from extinctsion, should'nt we leave them with the skill's they allready have??

  5. Sound's like centric ring's to me too. Like the person from the Silvia forum said, He discussed there may be a issue, there is, and he is trying to fix it. I find it a bit weird that he want's to come and pick the car up, allthough he may just be trying to offer a bit of customer service. I say give the guy a break. As for the insurance side of thing's, your car will be covered by HIS policy, so there's nothing to worry about. As a mechanic, somtime's a over prtective customer can be a real pain and get in the way of diagnosing a problem. Give him a chance to right his wrong I say?
