plenty of eggs, but i think either the male is infertile or my brothers incubation methods arent correct, we got ourselves a nice red male and yellow female off kim, female is gravid at the moment so will be interesting to have a go myself.

From my personal experience, both are good to keep, water dragons need constant handling to make them tame whereas beardies are really laid back and take to handling well. if they escape from cage, beardies are easier to catch, water dragons are fast, real fast and excellent jumpers. Its cheaper to build a large beardie enclosure as the waters need a well filtered water area. (they defecate in the water) means adding a tank or pond and filter or pump to cage cost, also building materials need to be able to take higher humidity. The waters being slightly bigger require a bigger enclosure. Water dragons are tough and really resistant to bacterial infections. Also as youngsters they are less inclined to eating each other. The beardie makes a better pet but i prefer the water dragons. My wife prefers the beardies, more interactive and better to cuddle. these are only my personal views.

setting up 2 large tanks, 1 for penguin and possibly sea turtle rehabilitation so will need to sustain fish population. And 2 is for the fact that ever since i was a young fishkeeper i always wanted a tank i could swim in. lol my own private rock pool

Need 25,000 litres of NSW, will be keeping mainly fish, one tank is for penguin rehabilitation the other as a 15,000 litre local marine set up. After researching on overseas sites will probably set up with 1/3 NSW, 2/3 sea salt then keep on adding NSW on a monthly basis. A lot of the more volatile elements are "lost" through drying process and can replace them but i need large quantities. otherwise Iam buying one hell of a lot of fish and chips in the future

well i thought it was big but i got given a 30,00 litre water tank so have cut it down to about 15,000 litres, always wanted a tank i could swim in. Originally built for penguin rehabilitation but will be keeping local marines to allow penguins to learn how to catch their dinner before return to wild. Koi swordies are doing well. Idont know about being famous but I am a legend in my own mind. lol

No not a trick question, have been given 275kgs of raw sea salt want to know if i can use for salt water tank, if not what do i need to add to bring up to sea water specs

they are all turtles but tortoise is used to refer to terrestrial turtle, just remember they have to have a taut-ass to keep the water out. LOL

hI Graeme we have 40+ red ears, 10 snakenecks and six reeves, we feed oxheart, fish and kitten cat biscuits (biskats) soaked in water for 10 mins to soften. to get turtles eating them use the red ones and feed in amongst some oxheart, seems to get them going, thanks for the tip on pillies have a local baitman who can supply, cheers mark
