for all you keen blokes (no offence girls) i have access to top notch Live rock for $10 a kilo which is a bargain, my mate is breaking up his beautiful reef (easier to buy earplugs ) of course its in Auckland, sorry Ira

dude that coral rock is DEAD so you will have to be VERY VERY patient before adding stock lucky you i have access to some very nice live rock

crap at typing but will try.........you need live rock either in sump or tank, need a skimmer and maybe more light, depends what you want to keep in the tank also a bonus if you get a water filter for top up.check out the pic of my bowfront on pies site.

Good on yer, best of luck PATIENCE is the key, ask anyone . sing out if i can help in anyway, there are 5 marine tanks on the shore if you can get over at some stage, actually more but these spring to mind. cheers Steve

The more water you can move the better but don't point the powerhead directly at corals, visit www.homereef.co.nz check out some of pies ideas, good luck, keep asking if you still need help.

day two for me, no changes yet,looking hard tho.

Yeah but lucky me ,mine sits in my sump so who cares if it leaks.

No mucking about bought a tall plastic container & 2 baskets , put hole in top & hole close to bottom- fit the outlet pipe from my tank into the top put the 2 baskets inside, first one upside down then the Zeovit inside the upright basket clip the lid on & VOILA my $12 reactor Will keep you posted. oh my tank turnover is done by a Laguna 6, i figure this is plenty of flow.

Cool you got me motivated so i went down to the plastic shop to get stuff to put the Zeovit in, will get it plumbed in soon, have been running carbon to prep for it.
