DOH I hadnt checked my salinity in the garage for a while ( read ages) Its 1.021 Now Ive let it creep up the skimmer is starting to pull out nice dark gunge...as it should, will put a pic up later.

Day 4 as good as any skimmer especially for the price! The tank its in only has rock 2 damsels & 3-4 leathers

3 years Isnt a new tank or someone starting out, depending on the size of the BT he "could" be fine till he outgrows that system, Our current BT's are 50c size.

Day 2, the skimmer is leaning lightly as its just thrown in my rock tank has anyone read anything about having to be level for best performance?

Yep sump skimmers, no tuning yet so running wet a quick search tells me the Aquabee 2000/1 runs 350-400 L of air per hour?

I thought I'd give one of these Arctic Equipment skimmers a try, I put it in my rock tank opened the airtap full & left it for 3 days to bed in last night it started to pull some gunk out so i've closed the air a bit, here's a pic they are 600 total height running a needle wheel pump

any reason for short hours? I try to copy the tropical sun so really my halides should run for 14 + hours???
