they seem extremely protective over the eggs and were even chasing the 23cm shark away lol hopefully

it looks like 60% are infertile and the rest are fertile

My parrot fish have laid eggs i put the fish in the tank 2 days ago then this-morning i saw a pit in the stones right under my filter intake :evil: and the parrots were chasing the other fish down the other end of the tank. then about 3 hours ago i saw heaps of eggs here are some pics

with my 1m bit i had it sitting in the sun for about 1 year all did was water blast it then tip 1.5L of boiling water over it and it sunk to the bottom straight away

the reason i was saying about it was because my dad said it was not the heat that was important but it was the strength which is 400watts. i myself dont have a clue :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

what would be the difference in having 4 of those energy saving bulbs they would produce 400watts wouldn't they?? like these http://www.trademe.co.nz/Home-living/La ... 214159.htm compared to a MH or t5's

could i wire the MH into my light hood or would it melt the plastic cover also what is the max watts i could have

would the Aqua one ar 980 tank be good for a marine tank. i just brought one its 215 L. i could still put a small sump in down the bottom if needed for lights it has 2x 30w 1x 25w is that good enough for the corals

take as much water from your oscar tank as you can and fill up your grow out tank with it then you will be ok

i was :oops: you are right maybe i will get the guy who make me my taks to drill a couple of holes for me.

not sure i could put a powerhead in the tank and sump which would be easier than drilling

just brought a 140L marine tank http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =133058576 do you think i need to put a sump under it or is there no point i am going to make doors and sides for the stand.
