In my tank u have a couple of potted plants. One is like a grass and is growing roots outside of the container. Is it ok just to seperate it? Is there any precautions as i dont want to ruin it
Thanks
Hey, i had a incident with my cat breaking my glass lid on my tank as hes a rebel. Being very frustrated with having a tray on my tank as i couldnt put on my light i got my boyfriend to make me up a lid for it. Heres some pictures after it was finished which also fits me light in perfectly. He stuck some non-slip rubber onto the bottom also so it doesnt move
Oh really that sucks, i turn mine off every night and have never had a problem in my life. In saying that i have alot of oxygen flowing in the day and my filter does create ripples so i wonder if that helps?? and ive never seem mine gasping. Im not sure..
I personally say that would be ok but im no expert. I do that myself as i can hear it from my bedroom (its in the lounge) lol. I also do a water change and clean the stones weekly and my tank seems to stay good. Hope that helps
HI
I moved the filter to the back as suggested, it seems to have worked a treat for most of the fish. The ones who dont like it just hang to the other side of the tank. My orandas just seem to keep swimming in the current, weird! lol
At the moment ive got a tank 60x30x36cm. I have a elite 15 filter on the left hand side of the tank which is close to the top. I regulary have a pump and air stone on to give them oxygen which is at the other end of the tank. The current of the filter seems to be quite strong. Is it ok for the fish? They always seem to be fighting the current. Does anyone have any ideas?
i wish lol he was straight back on it when i got home from work, now its got to be covered and it doesnt look as nice with out the light on
Im onto getting a proper glass lid now tho
