Im redoing my Nano planted soon to suit just Leopards So i will post pics when ive done it, i think it will look real nice
  2. Normal BN are a different species to GBA And I do realise that it sometime cannot be avoided, and i agree it does look nice have both in the same tank. And there isnt really anything wrong with the Keeping of both species in the same tank unless your selling them to Beginners without much knowledge or Shops. My last Say

    leopard fish

Pretty Much, and they are found in a few waterways in the north :-?
  4. Most fish will breed with their brothers and sisters, And theres nothing wrong with it, unless you are getting Deformalities or weak fish, also you cant do it for too many generations
  5. Just My Opinion- But it would be better for the hobby if these hybrid offspring were not used for breeding

    leopard fish

They do breed and a bit slower than guppys, and for the best male/female ration keep them below 20.

    leopard fish

In there natural habitat i think its around 18ish, I have kept mine as low as 10 and as high as 26, they were only happy up to 23-24ish, at 25 someof them got whitespot :-?
  8. I think the Filter would be able to do the tank with 70L of water, 1 koura and More than 10 shrimp with weekly waterchanges. Shrimp arent very messy.
  9. That would be fine When i change tanks i will only be keeping about 2 male 6female, and have promised a trio to my grandparents friends in Picton, and i said to someone downsouth on here i would send some down sometime. Im sure there will be plenty to go around Theres about 35-40 still there at the moment
  10. Want some Leopardfish still Caryl? Got plenty here
  11. Do you not know you are creating hybrids? And hybrids should NOT be spread round. Thanks
  12. How about sending him a PM?
  13. The first piece is awesome Wish i could find some wood like that here!
  14. Pictures would be cool Im actually wanting Wood that leeches
  15. I was bidding on that tank, i just wanted the driftwood though
  16. 21 new species of Phalloceros have been discovered http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/pfk/pages/item.php?news=1759
  17. I think they are supposed to be kept in either a Male/female pair(which will be aggressive) or a group of about 6 which is too many for that tank :-?
  18. No idea, But can i be first on the list for buying some?
  19. Il have quite a few to move onsoon too...
  20. This tank is in no way suitable to raise them from fry, and it would [robably be too small for a Adult pair with the other fish in there, I think you should go with some really nice angels IMO
