yea, as i only got it because it was in the tank that i brought

well i setting up a new tank ant want to have white stones down instead of the mixed colours. so i went into bunnings and had a look at what stones they had in bulk and they had these white ones but they said they had lime in and it will kill the fish that i out in the tank. so i went to the garden centre to see what they had and they had some with lime in also, but they said it wont kill my fish, so i just a bit confused about if it will or if it wont. i just need heaps of white stones to cover another six foot tank, and the ones that they say have lime in are the size i want and the cheepest. i just dont want to buy some, and kill all the fish.

this trip sound like its going to be so much fun with a great bunch of people, i would love to come and get me some, but just cant afford to and got my son to worry about. if anyone gets more then they want it would be great if they could get some for me, i would really be greatfull for it.

if you want a cheep way of fixing it just boil it for awhile, or just go into your pet shop and ask for somthing to stop the drift wood doing that, ther is a few things that will help. i have 3 very big pieces in my tank, the latest i added on the weekend. when i put the first two in the water went yuck but that ended up going away in two weeks without a water change. my letest piece i poiled it or about an hour which was hard to do because of the size, but my tank did not change colour.

Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself, my name is michelle and i currently have a 6ft tropical set up. started off keeping tropical for myself about 2-3 years ago, but my father have kept them since i was little. fish are such amaizing things and when i had my son he would full asleep watching them so we put a tank in his room, since then we have never had a problem getting him to sleep. this is such a cool site, with heaps of good information. i am currently after a pleco around 20 cm in size, would consider bigger or smaller, cheep. if anyone can help me it would be great to hear form you. we travel to auckland and tauranga alot so could pick up from there. thanks michelle
