The blue rams that have been coming in the last few months are riddled with internal parasites (alot of them are anyway)... I used to keep Blue Rams, and ours lasted donkeys... were in beautiful condition and even spawned for us, however at that stage I wasn't too interested in breeding them as such. The Bolivian Rams that have been coming in recently, alot of those have sunken in guts... have recently purchased a few and treated them internally with a good dose of metro and they are now in great nick, fattening up and eating well again... Can't wait till a nice batch of Blue Rams come in again, yet regardless, they are still going to be dosed internally. Everything we buy now gets treated. We got some young Gold Saum that looked a bit suss, gave them a good dose and they are looking perfect now, pays to be safer than sorry.
