Hi there people. Im doing some research on setting up a Frontosa tank. I want to set up a really close to the natural habitat type tank, so can you experienced Frontosa keepers give me suggestions about temperature, ph, rocks/plants, substrate, and any other useful information please! For the amount of money Im spending on them (and im a student so I don't have alot!) I really want to do this right the first time! Any photos of Frontosa tanks would also be useful. Just thought id bring up a old thread stripped my female yesterday and got between 20 to 30 fry

We currently have 2 red shouldered peacocks holding, and 3 demasonis. 2 demasonis have already given us 18 babies, and we have 32 red shouldered peacocks...We might need to invest in one of these kid things...Where do you get them from??

hehe i should have expected a reply like that! Ill keep them seperated for the time being as there are more demasoni then peacocks anyway. They're starting to go blue now so cute!

Hey guys, I got some baby peacock and demasoni fry growing up. Will they be ok in the same tank or should i seperate? Thanks for any help in advance

You could always try demasoni's!! They're awesome fish, stay pretty small and are really easy to breed as we've found out!!

We have a 1.2m sun sun and it's been fantastic. Filter is pretty good but we've also added a cannister filter. Found that at night if the water level down the water flow is quite noisy, so keep it topped up. Other than that it's good price and quality.

Yeah we have 10 fry too (from one female hehe). They're in a guppy breeding trap too and works sweet for the time being. They'll be going in their own tank pretty soon
