ok so its a very small cold water tank, 2ft long with a little internal filter 400L/PH it has a mesh lid with a fan going above it 24/7 anyone want to have a gess what i have in it? i will get pics up after a few gesses

ive had danios last all winter out side they are now in a tropical tank so that my lil sis could have a more wider range of fish

thanks thats what i thought, thanks for conferming that. i ended up talkn to a person for an hour about this and thats what i said that there is no such thing, just guppies that can handel lower temps, but with no heating out side they will die. thanks for the comfermation.

hey luke, hes looking very good, i did a bit of research on him when we had him and from what i could find he maxs out between 22 and 28cm, i had a guy come into the shop about 4times and him and hi wife both said at different times that they used to breed them in the early 90s but when he took them to QUOTE "a big fish shop in auckland" but they only gave him 20-30$ ech so he didnt bother raising anymore bubbers arg i mean FRY the guy told me that he was a male but couldnt find any thing to back that up.

they are omniverious (sp?) and tomuch of it may give them blot but using it every now and then is good. ive heard tubifix worms are even worse, it all has to do with the protein

could you do a tropical rock pool? as a chiller would just be way to much for me

it will have to wait till i get my own house, but it would probly be inside looking through glass, i was thinkn a cross section of a rock pool, with a few shrimps, crabs, shelf fish, small fish etc

to make a salt water rock pool? i have a tank that is 1.1m long x.85 x wide x .50 high its just sitting in a mates garrage but thourgt i maybe able to turn it into a rock pool one day

Hi ther i have one of these tanks and they are great. the number 980 is the model number, but it relates to the length of the tank, get a tape measure out and you will see that the tank is very close to being 980mm long
