at holywood the other day, i thrgt it was a frontosa but i asked and it wasnt as it only had 5bars,' can any one tell me what they are called? and any info would be great!!

there is only one room in the house i can have it in so that my flat m8 dosent find out about it, the lights are never on un less i looking at him, ie less than a hour a day, spred over the day (depends if im working or not) the fan is goin 24/7 i keep the curtian closed so that no direct sunlight can get the tank, and at the other end of the window i leave that part open as thats the part that can open to let a breeze in. hyopefully this works

as soon as my next pay comes in ill get some more rocks to make more caves, i put a fake plant in there just to see what it is like, its good to see a little bit of colour so i may add more, im now looking for a canister filter to keep the water clean as the internal isnt realy that great, i will be adding some peat next week as well.

oh i just tested the tap water and it has a pH of 8 so thats why it is so high its good for my malawi tank tho lol there is now some driftwood in there to try and lower it, i will get some peat when i can afford it

the light is only on for taking pics for a lid i have a mesh one held on by 2 glass lids the gravel it just small pices of schist so no buffer at all, more caves wil be added by the means of drift wood and more rocks i may even try a bit of java moss on the drift wood

ok as promissed i have1st pics so now its time for all the ewws and arrs to start lol, btw the only realy i have a purple bulb is because it was the cheapest lol, i got the 10,000k cheaper than the 6,500k buld, so i gess now that i have that i could grow plants, dose java fern grow in clod water?

will i be able to grow any plants in there for him? i dont realy have a light for him so that may not work, i do have a light hood on the atm but thts got a reptile tube in it as ive taken it out of my blue tounge tank while my blue tounge is away on holiday

i will get pics sumtime to day, i juxt need to redo the look of the tank so i can see him to get a pic, i got a half round log for the tank and its to big so that will go into anther tank, and ill get some river stones to make some caves for him

i was told to feed him a mix of fish, veges ie cucumber, and algea tabs ie JBL pleco chips hes had a couple of plecochips and at least one of them has gone
